There are just some things out there on the Internet that you can't un-see

This isn't Photoshop. It's real.

From commerical photographer Chris Buck, (whose photography is quite good, BTW). I believe this is from a spread he did of McGovern for Newsweek. You can see his website here at ChrisBuck.com.

I hope my husband looks that good when he is that age!

Let's hope we don't have to look at your husband then. What a tacky picture to allow anyone to post. Old George must be proud of this ghastly picture.

nice boobs!

It's not tacky you prude. It's awesome. He's clearly happy about himself. Rightfully so. He looks great for his age.

I say, more power to him. How many men do you know who can still fit into their military uniforms from long ago?

who jogs in a speedo?

Is McGovern now the "Speedo Bandito?"

No prude here but I don’t like to look at ugly things and this offends my sensibilities.

Those saggy old boobs and that flabby belly are not anything I care to see. Ick!

You’d think a guy McGovern’s age would have brains enough to cover himself a little better while he’s out in public, although that background certainly looks like it was taken inside. Looks to me like he posed for the camera.

I don’t care if he runs around his house or the local nudist colony stark naked, I just don’t want to have to look at it.

Speedo Brandito? Good one!

The picture was taken 10 years ago. August 18, 1996. PP do you have permission to use it?

To my knowledge, it's covered under Fair Use Doctorine of 17 U.S.C. § 107, ..

the fair use of a copyrighted work, including such use by reproduction in copies or phonorecords or by any other means specified by that section, for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching (including multiple copies for classroom use), scholarship, or research, is not an infringement of copyright.

Regardless, if there was an objection from the author, it's not as if I'd fight it, either.

I'm not reproducing it for profit (god knows, it's not for profit, I have to pay my yearly RSS feed aggregator bill tomorrow)

(If you didn't notice, I did offer my words of encouragement to the readers as well, in hopes that people will go review his other works.)

Old age isn't pretty, people. If you don't like to look at ugly things, you had better plan on saving up for lots of continuous plastic surgery or else you will need to get rid of your mirrors. I would guess there are a lot of elderly widows you would be tickled to death to look at their flabby, saggy husbands again if they could. Can we all say the word SUPERFICIAL?

They superimposed McGovern's head on the photo that won Jamie Lee Curtis all the acclaim a couple years ago.

Gross! Get me a barf bag... Even if I were an 80 year old woman, I'd want to puke!

saggy, hairy.....YUCK!

This picture is 10 years old? Oh my word!! Can you only imagine what George must look like now?

Please tell us he no longer poses for photographers in his unmentionables?
