One vote on deck for South Dakotans' view on immigration, Herseth Sandlin votes NO.

The Tancredo amendment yesterday to ban Homeland Security funding from cities that are sanctuaries for illegals was one of the first recent tests on where our congresspeople stand on immigration.

And guess where South Dakota's very own was on the measure after her previous statements to protect the needs of dairy farmers to hire illegals (!?!).

Why am I not surprised??? Hopefully another nail in her next time bid for election.

Powers, I suppose you support the continued funding of DEA raids on medical marijuana cooperatives as well in states that have enacted medical marijuana laws.

You're a true Republican, Powers, a true conserative.

Stephanie Herseth-Sandlin should be voted out of office for opening the doors of our borders to illegal immigrants who ignore the law.

This isn't about hemp, anon 7:50. Give it a rest and stay on topic.

They should also deny Homeland Security money to San Francisco, which hates the military and generally has nothing but utter contempt for this country. Then let's see who they come crying to when some Islamic Jihadist tries to disintegrate the Golden Gate Bridge.

Your post wasn't on topic either, anon 9:07.

Do you need permission from Pat to go to the bathroom?

What are you, a sheep?

anon 12:53. I rather like sheep, cute, cuddly little lambs. If you think they go where you want them to as individual sheep, you haven't been around them much! I was only off topic because I was responding to you.

Anyway, Herseth supports illegal immigration because she's a Dem. If you want to use your characterization of sheep, then she's a perfect example of following her leader Pelosi.

Well, I guess I got under his/her skin. Not worth any more comments on this issue. He/she has already lost by stooping this low.

Yup. Cutting funding from Homeland Security is totally going to fix immigration. There's absolutely no way that that could ever backfire.

It's a completely cut and dry issue. Clearly, Herseth-Sandlin voted against the amendment because she wants to "open the floodgates" so to speak. Clearly, this was the defining vote on her views on immigration...she couldn't possibly have voted against it on the basis that it's a bad idea.

Nope. Not at all.

Tancredo is a ignorant wretch.

AN ignorant wretch (on second thought, maybe I'm the ignoramous ... Nope, Tancredo is still worse).
