I love hearing Christian fundamentalists talk about science.

Yes, just what is this "science" Leslee Unruh speaks of? Why the abortion task force report which excluded evidence and testimony that didn't fit with the authors' one-sided views.

Very scientific.

I love hearing pro-abortion fanatics talk about science. "Um, I don't know when life begins. It's all mysterious and magical." Of course, it generally comes from the folks who think they evolved from fish after some gigantic ka-boom.

They're the same types who made it illegal to break the egg of an eagle because everybody knows what's happening inside that egg and that in a short time, a tiny eagle will emerge. Yet, they can't seem to figure out the mystery of human life, so it's completely fine to remove that baby limb by limb. It's even OK with them if a mother has carried her baby full-term and then she decides to kill her child. No big deal. Just give the baby's feet a tug, pull him or her out until only his or her little head remains in the birth canal, punch a hole in his/her nearly fully born skull, and suck his/her brain out with a vaccuum. I wonder why they have to suck the brain out of a boy or girl who isn't "really" alive yet.

Just think, in the latter procedure, two inches more, and mom would have to come up with a name for that thing that can't be scientifically defined by the socially enlightened.

You trust the science that tells you a fetus is a person, but you don't trust the science behind evolution and the big bang.

That's because one set of science fits nicely with your fundamentalist world-view, while the other directly contradicts it.

So the real gauge here is your own faith. Your opinion on abortion has nothing to do with science. Just like your opinion on evolution and the big bang has nothing to do with science. Can you admit that?

9:12 - Science has proven that a fetus is a human person, not a bug, a bat, or a blob of tissue. On the other hand, evolution has not been proven and never will be.

The real gauge here is your opinion, which also cannot be proven. You HAVE proven a remarkable lack of intelligence though.

9:12, it is science that tells us that the fetus is a living human being.

it is our moral or Christian worldview that tells us that killing that human being -- i.e., induced abortion -- is wrong.

if science did not confirm the former, we would have no standing on the latter.

"Science has proven that a fetus is a human person..."

Wrong. It hasn't proven it. That's your interpretation of the science. That's your theory. Nothing more.

But I'm not going to go any further into it with you, because every keystroke I write to you is a further waste of my life.

"On the other hand, evolution has not been proven and never will be."

This is why you shouldn't engage in debate with fundamentalists. Their minds have been made up before the conversation even began.
