Hey - why aren't my guys doing this? Senate Democrats have a blog.

I think I've been remiss in mentioning that the South Dakota Senate Democrats have a website/blog strictly devoted to their agenda and legislation. You can find it at http://www.sdsenatedems.com, and it comes complete with an RSS feed.

Which leads me to a question - Why aren't my guys doing this? I mean, I'm looking at it, and it seems to simply be a blog style template. A piece of cake.

(Call me Republicans, I can help you with this).

Regardless of whether I agree or disagree with the agenda (and I'd lean towards the latter), just for the sake of being complete I'm adding the RSS feed to the collection on the right.

Because the Dems are more disciplined. What would the GOP caucus write on their blog? Knudson and Apa would have to agree first on what their agenda is!

GOP is used to having huge majorities, which has allowed them to stray from any sort of party line. The Dems believe they have a shot at taking back the chamber - so they are very disciplined.

The pathetic SDGOP website has been a pet peeve of mine for a long time. It has gotten a little better but it has a long way to go to keep up with the Dem website. What does the GOP staff do all day anyway? The SDDEM site heavily promotes its state legislators and issues. The SDGOP website needs to do the same.

Disciplined? The Dems don't even police their own. Danny S would be gone if he were a Conservative.

This is the best blog!

The Dems are clearly more disciplined on message and issues. And that was not true before this session - it has alot to do with Heidepriem. The Sutton thing has to do with personal conduct - not at all what I am talking about.

It could just be that Democrats/Left-Leaners are generally more concerned with aesthetics (i.e. a sharp-looking web site).

Aren't there any crunchy conservatives in the SD GOP?
